- Base: 316L stainless steel. Not brass, so there’s no copper to oxidise on your skin.
- Colour: silver-tone. It isn’t 925 silver: it’s silver-tone stainless steel, and it won’t turn green.
- Nickel: low release, within the limits of the REACH regulation (Annex XVII, entry 27).
- Water: showers, the sea, sweaty gym sessions: you can keep it on.
To make it last longer (honestly): take it off in the pool, chlorine is harsh on everything. Keep it away from bleach and solvents. Perfume and moisturiser first, jewellery last. Clean it with a soft cloth.

What you’re probably wondering.
Is it real silver?
No: it’s not 925 sterling silver. It’s silver-tone 316L stainless steel.
It’s not brass, so it won’t turn green or leave marks on your skin.
Does it tarnish over time?
Costume jewellery tarnishes because there’s brass underneath, which means copper: sweat and water make it oxidise. Ours has a stainless steel base.
Can I shower in it? What about the sea?
Yes: showers, the sea, gym sweat.
An honest tip: take it off for the pool (chlorine is harsh on everything) and keep it away from bleach and solvents.
I’m allergic to nickel. Can I wear it?
316L steel releases little nickel, within the limits of the EU’s REACH regulation (Annex XVII, entry 27).

How do I choose my size?
Our sizes are the inside circumference in mm: size 52 = UK/AU L½. With some thread and a ruler it takes 30 seconds: the guide is just below the sizes, on this page.
Between two sizes? Go for the bigger one. Try it on at home, just as you would in a shop: if it doesn’t fit, tell us within 30 days and send it back.
When will I get it?
Tracked delivery, by courier.
We send you the tracking code as soon as your parcel ships.
And if I don’t like it?
You have 30 days from delivery to tell us you want to return it. Refund to the same payment method.
All we ask, in plain words: try it on as you would in a shop (if it’s been worn beyond that, we may deduct the loss in value) and, if you can, send it back in its box. No. The multi-buy discount (2 pieces −20%, 3 or more −30%) applies automatically in your bag; a discount code doesn’t stack with it. At checkout you automatically get the better discount for you.
